Open to Work (Again)

What I have admittedly not mastered during my lifetime (if someone you know has the secret, please send her my resume) is the fine art of staying in one place. Throughout the first 37 years of my career, I leveraged my limited partnership, Ingenus, to juggle contracts and be my own boss. After I decided to “take it easier,” I experienced (twice) what many of you felt when your careers first started: the stinging feeling of having the rug pulled out from under you.

I’m looking for the opportunity to build an audience around a service and a technology that will measurably move our society forward.  Improving the lives and work of customers, of course, will remain my key goal.  But I’m also looking for an organization whose people believe in what they do, as something that benefits the world at large.  I can build a narrative around that story, and from there, I can build a content strategy. From that base, maybe we can build a publication together. Or perhaps a bigger, broader organization.
